Only three U.S. airports require security checks for employees, TSA administrator says

Cost is still proving to be one of the biggest barriers to 100% employee screening, but logistics factor in as well. Many airports have moved to or are considering a risk-based/randomized model, which offers the benefit of keeping the adversaries off balance. If they know what to expect, they can find loopholes to exploit. (TH)
