Hero policeman 'wrestled bomber to ground' before Turkey attack

Terrorists tried to get in past initial security, where gunfire erupted as one appears to have had an AK-47, initial reports state. Security stopped them when one of the attackers drew a weapon and engaged them when stopped. It's important to note that there can always be secondary effects during an attack - in this case a bomb - you can't predict them, but good observation and countermeasures can prevent further access, as it appears they didn't make it though when they detonated a bomb. It could've been likely that the primary target beyond the first checkpoint was at Arrivals. Isis militants have been targeting tourist spots in recent attacks in Turkey, and airports have large concentrations of them, especially during the summer travel season. http://ift.tt/291Ungn
