To all of us that know or have friends in country, we know the mindset of folks over there. They are often protecting other US and Foreign Internationals that are doing work that is needed to keep hospitals working, electrical and water plants running. I do hope the Administration knows this, Security Contractors know what they are facing but the Aid workers often do not. If the Security Contractors head out to protect themselves, this will leave the Aid workers on their own, often unarmed and at the mercy of the attackers. Many of the Security Contractors will not let that happen, and may well suffer the ultimate fate for doing so. I am not sure of the correct solution, but someone should be working on it.
