Roadside bomb targets Palestinian prime minister’s convoy entering Gaza

Having been on that road many times, the first stretch of road from the Israeli Gazen check point is particularly dangerous since there's only one road to use. It's normally under the constant view of the Gazen security forces and quite probably Israeli security as well. It was once bombed by Israel with a jet before I arrived at the check point. They were targeting a known Palestinian terrorist traveling by car in the area, my driver had a hard time getting around the crater it made. The whole attack scenario seems a bit suspect, but a car or even horse drawn cart left on the side of the road would work well. Most security teams would have not allowed that to happen. Keep tuned in as we get more information.
Palestinian authorities held Hamas, which controls Gaza, responsible, though the Islamist group condemned attack.
