Six U.S. intelligence agencies warn against using Huawei phones

This is a very real threat, one that we all need to be aware of. People are buying them for kids and other family members, thinking what they are doing with the phone is no threat to anyone. But then for the phone to use the home or office WIFI, you have to give them the password to your router. Once that is in the phone, it sends that info into the Chinese intelligence system, and you're compromised. Many cleaning crews also have these phones, if you let them access your router, the phone will send access codes back to mother China. Once in to your router, virtually everything connected to the router is vulnerable, plus once into a router, they can leave malicious code on the router to both send everyone's passwords that use it to China, and use code left on the router to infect any device that hooks up to it. So be very wary of anyone using the these phones.
